Her Own Schedule

Just when I had thought the backyard garden had wound down for the year,

 some colour appeared.

I've been reminded that Mother Nature operates

 on her own splendid schedule.

Thank you for visiting.

  6. Your flowers look lovely. A few nights ago we got frost and everything is now dead. Waiting for spring for them to come back to life.

  10. Beautiful! Is that a rhododendron in your first shot? Recently I saw a rhodie blooming, and I always expect to see them in the spring.

  13. Isn't that so true...it certainly seems that the flowers perked up more in October then any other month.

Except now there is frost....too bad.

  17. Aren't they lovely surprises!
The hydrangeas take on a whole new look in Autumn - the soft faded colours are exquisite.
I'm very envious of your Centaurea montana, after caring for one little speciman for two years it has just curled up it's toes - I think my white forget-me-nots just smothered the poor darling!

    Enjoy your Sunday
